Lawrence Korney

Lawrence Adam Korney, beloved husband of Jane Annette Korney, was born January 7, 1941 at the Endeavour Red Cross Hospital. Lawrence graduated from Sturgis Composite High School in 1960, then found employment as a building construction worker in Regina.

In 1970, Lawrence married Jane Buchinski at the Endeavour Anglican Church.

Lawrence worked in building construction throughout northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He finally settled in Endeavour with Jane and their two children, Colin and Belinda, taking over his father's grocery store and run his own construction business.

Lawrence enjoyed operating his trap line, fishing and hunting with friends and family, travelling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a friend and mentor to many, gaining pride from teaching others about fur trapping and building construction.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Jane, son Colin (wife Jackie, sons Matthew and Samuel) and daughter Belinda (husband Colin, daughters Morgan, Mia and Macey) both of Preeceville, Saskatchewan.

Lawrence passed away silently Friday May 11, 2018 at the Yorkton Regional Health Center. He was seventy-seven years of age.
