Charlotte Tetlock

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Charlotte Tetlock, widow of Donald Tetlock, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Saturday, January 8, 2022.  She was 89 years of age.

Charlotte Mary Tetlock was born January 23, 1932 to Louie and Lena Haskewich in the house on the family farm near Rama, SK.  Charlotte attended Rama School until grade 4 then later attended Norway School.  After she finished school, Charlotte worked on the family farm where she met her beloved husband, Donald Tetlock.  Soon after they were married on November 23, 1949 at St. Gerard’s RC Church in Yorkton, SK.  They lived on the family farm south of Preeceville in the Norway district.  Two years later they bought their own farm where they raised cattle, chickens, had a huge garden, along with their own trenching business.

Charlotte was an active member of the Preeceville Legion Auxiliary, a member of the CWL and an avid curler.  Her passion in life was her family, gardening, flowers, nature, singing and helping others. 

Charlotte will forever be lovingly remembered by her three daughters; Elaine Hearn of Preeceville, Patty Stasiuk of Preeceville and Barbara Tetlock of Yorkton.  Four grandchildren; Jacqueline Hearn, Patrick Stasiuk, Jen Hearn (Jamie), and Danielle Stasiuk (Arion).  Four great grandchildren; Jayden Bergman, Jake Bergman, Jesse Bergman and Braxton Bryant as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, and her favourite furry companion Roxy, aka ‘Snooshka’.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Donald; both parents, three brothers and one sister.

Memorial Donations in memory of Charlotte may be made towards Preeceville Home Care for Palliative Care, the Preeceville Long Term Care Auxiliary or St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church as gifts of remembrance.
