Dennis Glover Obituary

GLOVER - Dennis Glover beloved husband of Marlene Oftebro of Endeavour passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina at the age of 70.

Dennis Wayne Glover was born on January 7, 1948 in Calgary, Alberta to Arleigh and Hope (nee Mills) Glover.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Arleigh and Hope Glover, Marlene’s parents George and Gladys Oftebro and nephew, Greg Glover.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Oftebro, brothers, Roy (Sharon) Glover and Duane (Marilea) Glover as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins, and Marlene’s five siblings and their families.

Dennis spent his summers at Lady Lake enjoying the outdoors and gardening his tobacco plants. He enjoyed touring the countryside on his quad or side by side visiting with friends and strangers alike. Dennis was well known to the D J’s at CKRM and CJGX from his frequent phone ins to win prizes, radio bingo cards and Sask. Roughrider tickets. Dennis and Marlene enjoyed going for drives to look for wildlife as well as feeding the deer and birds and dogs of Endeavour that frequented their yard year round. Dennis enjoyed fishing and often asked female acquaintances if they would like to go “Fishin in the dark” with him.

Dennis loved entertaining his great nephews and great niece with his toys and prospecting adventures when they visited. Dennis loved to harass his family and friends with his sense of humour in a good natured way.  Dennis was a very generous man and a world class wheeler and dealer. He could always get a good deal on a purchase that he was interested in and knew how to make a few bucks when he was selling one of his “treasures”.

Dennis you will be always loved and dearly missed by your loving wife and all your loving family and friends.
