Diana Louise Kathleen was born on August 3, 1950 to Melvin and Doris (Samuel) Stone in Montreal, Quebec. She was raised there until she went off to bible college in Abbotsford, BC, where she met Al Lowe and started their family in Salmo, BC. The ministry led them to Pastor in Glaslyn, SK and then further on to Preeceville, where they planted their roots.
Mom was involved with the church, with all her children’s activities, and worked with the elderly and disabled. She was very involved in the community with her faith and worship.
She made the best potato pancakes, and the best roadside mountain campground sandwiches on all our summer road trips. Diana worked at the Preeceville Progress and the Bakery.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. She took wonderful care of her parents when they moved from the east coast to be closer to her.
She loved music and had the most beautiful voice. She performed at various events and occasions. Diana was stubborn, independent, worked hard and fought hard until the bitter end.
Diana was predeceased by her mother, Doris. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children and their families; Stephen (Kayla) Lowe and their children, Kaegan, Darian, Kobe, & Fehryn; Katherine Vandale (Dustin Agecoutay) and their children, Jocelyn & Keira; Brian Lowe and his children Zeke & Daylee; her father, Melvin Stone; three brothers; Richard (Linda), Brian (Ruby), and Gary (Patti) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She touched the hearts of many.
