Doreen Frances Mills ( Schuler), beloved wife of Ralph Mills, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Preeceville Long Term Care Center.

Doreen was born on January 31,1935 to Alphonse and Irene (Brownell) Schuler in Saskatoon. They moved to Reserve in the late 1930's . Doreen attended school in Reserve and at Saskatoon Business College.

Doreen met Ralph Mills in November 1954. They were engaged in December 1954 and married on August 27, 1955. They had eight children, fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Doreen worked for 25 years at the Endeavour School. She loved crocheting, baking, knitting,gardening and reading. She volunteered with the ACW and the Well Club. She also chaperoned band and school trips.

Doreen was predeceased by her dad Alphonse, mom Irene, brothers Robert, step mother Anne, sons Gerald and David and son in law Jim.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Ralph, children John (Vicky), Tim (Adeline), Lorene (Jim), James (Jill), Gordon and Scott(Karen), daughter in laws Carla (Gerald), Kathy (David), grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Doreen were held on April 12, 2017 from the Evangel Tabernacle in Preeceville. Interment followed at Etoimamie Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Sask. Lung Assoc. or Sask. Alzheimer's Assoc. as gifts of Remembrance.
