It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Katherine Pidgurski announce her sudden passing.
Katherine Anne Pidgurski, 38 of Buchanan passed away on February 11, 2019. She was born October 29, 1980 in Canora, Saskatchewan to Bernard and Kathleen Pidgurski. She attended Buchanan School from K-6 and graduated from Canora Composite School in 1998.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Sociology Major from Athabasca University convocating in 2003. She furthered her education by obtaining her Certificate in Human Resources and Labour Relations. She was a very hard-worker, with incredible dedication. She managed to get her education while helping on the family farm as well as working jobs outside the farm. After completing her education she began working at Preece Place in Preeceville, where she has been employed for the last 13 years. In this time, she has made many close friends and touched the lives of many people.
She was an incredibly loving daughter, sister, auntie and friend, who always put others before herself. She was a very thoughtful and empathic person. She had a love of animals and grew and amazing flower garden every summer. In her free time, she enjoyed spending it with family and friends.
Katherine is survived by her mother, Kathleen, brother Kevin(wife Nicole), nieces Cassidy, Lily and Zoe and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, John & Katey Krywulak, Andrew & Anne Pidgurski, her brother, Brent and father, Bernard Pidgurski.
