Michael Nicholas Maksymiw was born on April 30, 1984 in Norquay, Saskatchewan. A son to Terry and Sandy (nee Shykitka) Maksymiw.
Michael was very active even when he was a small boy. He was always a busy body. He enjoyed playing hockey, snowmobiling, karate, and golfing, he avidly followed NHL Hockey and NFL Football. His greatest love was his niece Grace. Michael worked as an Electrician, Motorman/Rigger, and Salesman. Michael was a caring soul who looked after everyone and in the end, may not have had enough for himself. He will always be in mom, mine, Jamie’s, Kelly’s and Grace’s hearts forever. We will not say goodbye to you, for we will see you again, may you find peace where ever you are.
"Son, we all know there isn't a perfect person. It's the moments in your life that makes you special. The times when you would give me a hug when I needed it. The times you were excited about a new song and shared it with me. When you wanted me to make you pizza for supper, because you couldn't get enough pizza. Those are the moments that will remain with me always. See you later son, when we will share those moments again." -Mom
