Norma Goulden

     Norma Goulden (nee Hedley) passed away on March 16, 2018 at the age of 79 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.

     Norma is predeceased by her late husband James Goulden in 2014 and her son Wally Goulden. She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Heather) Goulden, Trudy (Don) Peterson; grandchildren, Charity Jarduk, Devon Peterson, Nicole Goulden, Darcie Goulden; great grandchildren, Maisie Jarduk, and Jaxson Jarduk.

   Norma was born on April 11, 1938 in Timmins, Ontario, and later moved to Sturgis where she spent her life. Norma loved the outdoors, camping, gardening and foraging for berries and mushrooms. Her passion for gardening showed in her well-kept yard, beautiful flowers and filled storage room shelves. Coffee was always on for friends and family, including baked goods and pie.

   At Norma’s request, a small graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials in memory of Norma may be made towards The Preeceville Hospital Auxillary for Palliative Care as gifts of remembrance. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preeceville Funeral Home.
