Olga Stasiuk

Mrs. Olga (Gulka) Stasiuk, beloved wife of the late Steve Stasiuk, of Preeceville, passed away with her family by her side on December 13, 2024. She was 98 years of age. 

Funeral Services were held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from the Chapel of Preeceville Funeral Home. 

Donations in memory of Olga may be made to the Sturgis Kinsmen Club (Box 521, Sturgis, SK, S0A 4A0) as gifts of remembrance.

Olga (Gulka) Stasiuk was born March 25, 1926, to Steve M. and Mary Gulka. Olga married Steve Stasiuk on May 27, 1944 and had two children, Shirley and Danny. Olga lived her entire life in Preeceville. She led a very full life and enjoyed her garden, curling, and being at the lake. She loved caring for and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Olga made sure she made time for her best-friend, Mabel Gulka and many other friends. Olga LOVED to play cards and did so, every chance she had! Olga worked at the MacLeod’s Store for 25 years. She was also a member of the CWL.

Olga is survived by her son, Danny Stasiuk; daughter, Shirley (who passed away on February 10, 2025) (Ed) Tchorzewski; six grandchildren, Dion (Erin) Tchorzewski, Raquel (Mark Steen), Sharla Tchorzewski, Shaunda (Tanner Fellinger), Patrick and Danielle Stasiuk (AJ Bryant); great-grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Alexa, Sydney, Miranda, Tia, Jake, Jelina, Ava, Eden and Braxton.

Olga was predeceased by her husband, Steve Stasiuk; siblings, Lena Hycha, Peter Gulka, Helen Downs; son-in-law, Edwin Tchorzewski; father, Steve M. Gulka and mother, Mary Gulka.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preeceville Funeral Home.
