Stephanie Pristie nee Rehaluk, passed away peacefully October 2nd, 2022. Stephanie was born March 26th, 1941 to proud parents Alexander & Anastasia (Nellie Luciw) Rehaluk.
Stephanie’s childhood was spent full of love and laughter on the family farm near Hazel Dell, SK, with her parents and brothers. Her formal education was at Orange Vale Country School and Sturgis Composite High School. While attending High School she boarded and worked for Willie and Kate Paseshniuk of Hazel Dell, SK.
In July of 1959 Stephanie married the love of her life Phillip Pristie. Together they raised five children Rick, Bruce, Cory, Stacey, and Roy. Stephanie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Throughout the years she enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and in her senior years loved singing and playing her guitar and violin. She entered into many talent shows and continued to share her love of music with others, playing at the local and surrounding long term care homes. Over the years, anyone that stopped in to visit would be welcomed in with a smile and most definitely fed a meal, or a special goodie treat she had whipped up, like her coveted rice crispy treats. She loved to share a cup of coffee and have a good visit.
Stephanie is predeceased by her parents, Alex and Anastasia Rehaluk, brother John in childhood, brother Pete, Husband Phillip and son-in-law Rob Neitling.
